Build Process

From Raw Carbon
to the Road

01
Design & CFD
Every surface modelled in 7-axis CAD. 12,000 CFD simulations run per model generation. Zero aesthetic decisions — only aerodynamic outcomes.

Carbon Lay-up
T1100G carbon prepreg laid by hand, ply by ply. Each monocoque requires 340 hours of lay-up by two dedicated technicians.

Autoclave Cure
180°C at 7 bar for 4 hours. Our autoclave is the same specification used by the Airbus A350 wing programme. Post-cure CT scan at 0.1mm resolution.
04
Assembly & QC
2,400 hours of final assembly. Every bolt torqued to 0.1 Nm specification. 640 quality checkpoints before a car leaves the facility.

Our CQM chassis is the structural heart of every APEX. Woven from aerospace-grade T1100G carbon fibre with graphene-reinforced joint zones, it achieves a torsional rigidity of 72,000 Nm/degree — stiffer than any production car ever made.
